R.Kelly sentenced

 Rhythm and blues star, Robert Kelly, popularly known as R.Kelly has been sentenced to thirty years in jail for teenage sexual assault and sex trafficking. 

R.Kelly is someone I looked up to as a youngster for his talent and entrepreneurial feats.

He wasn't just a good singer, churning out award winning beats every now and then. 

The 55 year old was the classic story of a self made and successful singer, song writer and music producer.

What we didn't know was behind all the glamour, there were dirty happenings that I would not be proud of.

It's said that not all that glitters is gold.

R.Kelly has proven that to us.

Presently, I can't say I'm proud of him for all we've found out about him in the course of his trial and sentencing. 

May he learn his lessons.

So sad.
