Daddy, why do you have to work everyday?

 I was confronted with this question from my 3rd daughter, Iveren.

My children have gotten use to me working everyday of the week, including weekends, public holidays and festive periods like Christmas and New year. 

Even when I have to take them out on festive periods, I still find time to go to the hospital before catching up with them.

My job as a medical practitioner and business manager requires that I along with my fellow managers are always on our feet to ensure that we deliver the quality of services expected of us. We have a brand to protect and improve on. 

My answer to Iveren was that alot of people depend on me and I have to make myself available to them constantly. I hope she understood?
